Washington, DC - Today, National Victory Strategies released the results of a new national survey finding that Donald Trump is leading Joe Biden by 5% ahead of tonight's debate.

Fifty-one percent (51%) of voters who participated in the survey believe that the United States was better off when Donald Trump was President. 

Immigration and Border Security continues to be crucial for voters with Twenty Three percent (23%) of voters who participated in the survey making it their top issue. Followed by Jobs and the Economy at Seventeen percent (17%) and Inflation at Eleven percent (11%).

This NVS national survey was conducted from June 25-26, 2024, with 1030 registered voters nationwide. See the survey methodology below for more details.

Survey Methodology: 

This National Victory Survey was conducted by telephone with live professional interviewers from June 25th thru 26th, 2024, with 1030 registered voters throughout the United States.  Of the total interviews conducted there were 138 on landline and 892 on cellphone telephone numbers. 

Interview selection was random from within a predetermined group of likely general election registered voters throughout the country.  This group was structured to correlate with our estimated voter turnout model for the November 5th, 2024, General Election based on turnout from prior years and future voting trends.

This voter sample has a margin of error of +3.1% percent at a 95% confidence interval. This survey was conducted independently by National Victory Strategies and was not commissioned, paid for, sponsored, adjusted, or reviewed by any third party prior to release.
