Washington, DC - Today, National Victory Strategies released the results of a new survey finding that former President Donald Trump is leading the GOP presidential primary in South Carolina ahead of Tuesday's vote with the support of 59% of voters, with former Governor Nikki Haley trailing with 29% support.

Fifty-eight percent of South Carolina Republican voters who participated in the survey said they believe that Nikki Haley should suspend her campaign if she loses the Saturday primary in her home state.

The statewide survey was conducted from February 20th through February 21st, 2024, with 500 registered voters throughout the state of South Carolina. See the survey methodology below for more details.

Survey Methodology:
This National Victory Survey was conducted by telephone with live professional interviewers from February 20th through February 21st, 2024, with 500 registered voters throughout the state of South Carolina. Of the total interviews, 193 were on landline and 307 on cellphone telephone numbers.
Interview selection was random from within a predetermined group of likely Republican Presidential primary election voters in South Carolina. This group was structured to correlate with our estimated voter turnout model for the February 24th, 2024, South Carolina Republican Presidential Primary Election based on turnout from prior years and future voting trends.
To ensure an accurate statistical sample of the entire state, the samples collected were kept proportional to the 7 media markets in South Carolina, meaning that the samples for each media market are proportional to the number of likely primary voters in each media market. This voter sample has a margin of error of +4.4% percent at a 95% confidence interval.
